As officials at NAB protest the mysterious death of their colleague, pressure is now on the government to take action and investigate as to what exactly happened in the case. The deceased’s family are adamant that there is no truth to the matter that it was a suicide.
NAB officers observed pen down strike on Monday to voice protest against the mysterious death of Kamran Faisal, an investigation officer into Rental Power case and demanded transparent inquiry into the incident.
The officers voiced protest and observed strike wearing black bands around their arms in NAB offices at Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar Monday.
Chairman NAB Fasih Bokhari met the protesting officers and asked them to call off the strike. The NAB officers demanded on the occasion that a fair and transparent inquiry be conducted to ascertain reasons leading to the death of Kamran Faisal. He has been murdered and he has not committed suicide as the signs of violence available on his body testify that he was killed, they stated.
They demanded that atmosphere of pressure prevailing in NAB be brought to end and safety of officers be ensured. Arbitrary powers being exercised by contract officers of NAB be eliminated to ensure impartial investigations into the cases, they added.
NAB officers demanded that a transparent investigation be carried out by former DG FIA Tariq Khosa.
The protest will be carried out for next two days.
Justice javaid Iqabal is most unreliable judge in this team of judiciary working there so I have many doubts about this investigation , will proceed under this suspicious character.
Oh goodie!!! Now we are going to find out EVERYTHING like we did about other judicial commissions headed by the HONORABLE (giggle) Justice Javed Iqbal, like the US Osama raid in Abbotabad and the Missing Persons case…..
😉
You are going to right side.Javid Iqbal is inducted black sheep in judiciary camp
"Employees of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) have rejected the commission formed by the federal government to probe Kamran Faisal's death…"
