OPC retrieves property of expat Pakistani

LAHORE: Due to the intervention of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, a commercial plaza of a Pakistani currently living in the USA has been retrieved from illegal occupation.

OPC Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti said that one Abdul Aziz, settled in New York, had lodged a complaint with the commission that some people had occupied his commercial plaza worth Rs 70 million in Mandi Bahauddin.

The complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) for action, which vacated the plaza with the help of local police and the district administration and then handed it over to its owner.
