IGP bids farewell to three SPs

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Salah-ud-Din on Monday gave farewell to three outgoing Superintendents of Police (SPs) at Central Police Office. The IGP also acknowledged their services for the police force.

Addressing the ceremony, the IGP said that SP Abdul Waheed Khan, SP Habibullah and SP Aziz Muhammad were assets for KP Police and their role in the war against terror remained crucial.

He said that it was a matter of great pride that the three police officers earned a good name for the force and despite several challenges, they performed their duties with honesty and respect and never compromised on public service.

The IGP conveyed best wishes for the retiring SPs and emphasised on KP police to take benefit from their services and experiences after retirement.

Additional IGPs of headquarters, special branch and operations, FRP commandant, Peshawar Police Capital City chief, Investigation headquarters’ DIG, Headquarters DIG, Establishment AIG, CPO and other high ranking officers attended the farewell party.

On the occasion, the three retiring SPs shared their experiences and challenges during the services spanning over four decades. At the end, the IGP presented shields and gifts to the retiring officers.
