Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will be arriving in Karachi Saturday on his first visit after taking over the reign of prime minister.
According to sources, Prime Minister Abbasi will pay his respects to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and will offer Fateha at his mausoleum.
During his first Karachi visit, the prime minister will also meet Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair Umar. He will also meet the delegations of PML-N, MQM-Pakistan, and religious scholars.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah is also expected to call on the prime minister and brief him about law and order situation and development activities.
MURAD HAS NO OBJECTION TO GOVERNOR EXERCISING FULL POWERS:
Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah, meanwhile, has said that he has no objection whatsoever of governor exercising all his powers.
Talking to media after visiting Saint Patrick Church on Minorities Day, Murad said that issue pertaining to the powers of Inspector General Police Sindh, under hearing at the court, are about administrative powers.
Sindh governor is not a member of Sindh Apex Committee, and attends its meetings on his special invitation, Murad added.
