PML-N, PAT workers clash leaving 3 seriously injured

GUJRANWALA: Three persons were seriously injured during an armed clash between the workers and supporters of ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).

The clash occurred when the workers and supporters of the two parties came face to face with each other, prior to the arrival of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. First, the two groups indulged in loud chanting against the leadership of each other and after a while, the PML-N enthusiasts charged on PAT workers for chanting slogans against their leadership. Three workers of PAT were seriously injured in the brawl.

The three seriously injured PAT workers were shifted to a hospital in critical condition.

According to police, the clash occurred due to the chanting of slogans by both parties against each other.
