Women in viral miniskirt video confirmed as Iranian proxy: Saudi media

RIYADH – The woman who was arrested after being seen wearing a miniskirt in a viral video has been confirmed as an Iranian proxy by authorities, Saudi media confirmed.

Saudi state television station, Al Ekhbariya reported on Tuesday that the woman was arrested by the Riyadh police for “suggestive political ties.”

The endearing woman’s reported alliances are not only with the Iranian regime, Hizbollah, Houthi rebels in Yemen, and the Syrian government, but is also believed to be linked to Qatar as well, Saudi media reports confirm.

“Her views go against the country’s strict legal codes that require people to cover themselves in the state propaganda fed to them,” a senior journalist said on Al Ekhbariya.

“They are required to wear loose fitting shrouds over their conscience, any clothing that covers their eyes, and abayas for the brain.”

The arrested woman, meanwhile, claims in a statement that the “the viral videos were completely apolitical.”

The video quickly drew criticism online with many Saudis using a hashtag saying the woman should face trial for the immoral afterworld views.

While none of Iran, Syria or Qatar have issued a statement over the matter, ISIS is poised to take responsibility, should the rest continue to maintain their silence over the next few days, reliable sources within the Middle East jihadist group have told The Dependent.
