CM’s honours Captain Karnal Sher khan on his 18th martyrdom anniversary

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his message on the 18th martyrdom day of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed, one of the few recipients of the Nishan-e-Haider, has said that Capt. Sher Khan sacrificed his life to keep the flag of Pakistan high at the height of 17 thousand feet and incurred tremendous damage from the enemies during the Kargil war and set a high example of bravery and audacity, he added.

The CM paid rich tributes to his sacrifices for the country and said that Sher Khan was a symbol patriotism and bravery. His bravery and courage were also acknowledged by the enemies. The whole nation is proud of his defence and love for the motherland. He said that the persons sacrificing their lives for the defence of the country are the heroes of the whole nation and Pakistanis feel proud of the great sacrifices of the martyrs.
