KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday condemned the arrest of pro-freedom female Kashmiri leader Asiya Andrabi.
Indian police arrested Dukhtaran-i-Millat Chairperson Asiya Andrabi from her residence in Srinagar late Wednesday night.
The PPP chairman denounced the arrest saying, “India, because of its atrocities in occupied Kashmir, has violated the charter of United Nations.
“The forces are spilling blood of innocent Kashmiris as they are no longer afraid of their state-terrorism,” he added.
On the other hand, authorities in India-held Kashmir have ordered internet service providers to block popular social media services, including Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp as a new tactic to hide their brutalities. It is the first time the government has taken such a step, although it regularly blocks the mobile internet signal in the volatile Kashmir valley.
