The annual folk festival (Lok Mela) arranged by Lok Virsa broke all past records of sales of artisans, revenue and visitors satisfaction.
This was stated by Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr. Fouzia Saeed while talking to APP, she thanked provincial governments, volunteers and media for their support during ten-day folk festival held from April 7 to 16. She said that the mela concerts were live streamed during the 10 days, however, we will be repeating the footage of these concerts every day for those who missed these vibrant programmes.
She said that every day we will repeatedly air three concerts in a loop, so people can watch at www.lokvirsa.org.pk. “These will be aired at night also for our international viewers,” she said. She said that the repeat telecast has started from today (Saturday). Executive Director Lok Virsa said that this three-day schedule will be repeated twice in the coming week.
