A terrorist, who was involved in attacks on Bannu Jail and law enforcement agencies, was executed at District Jail Kohat on Thursday.
According to a press release of the ISPR, the convict was tried by military court. It also stated that Tahir as an active member of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, was involved in attacking and breaking of Bannu Jail owing to which number of terrorists managed to escape from the Jail.
He was also involved in attacks on law enforcement agencies that resulted in death of a soldier and injuries to another soldier. The terrorist admitted his offences before the Magistrate and the trial court. He was sentenced to death.
