Zardari promises to be neutral on his show when discussing Zardari

Senior political anchor on Bol TV Asif Ali Zardari has assured his viewers that he will be completely and utterly neutral when discussing Asif Ali Zardari.

“I will be holding the PPP co-chairman’s feet to the fire and will ensure that our program remains as objective as possible,” he said, speaking to reporters from his residence, Bilawal House in Karachi, which happens to be extremely close to the residence of PPP chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

“Despite having the same ethnicity as the PPP co-chairman and a similar upbringing, I will still not let that cloud my judgment when it comes to discussing him,” he said.

Those were not the only similarities between the recently hired anchor and the former president. In addition to sharing the same set of biological parents, the two also share identical DNA and fingerprints. They even have a preference for the same cuisine.

“I assure you, I am going to be completely neutral. People somehow assume I like the fellow,” said the TV personality. “Sometimes, in the morning, when I look at his face, I feel like punching him.”
