KARACHI: A young man was shot dead by armed men in Gulzar-e-Hijri area of the city on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, Nazar Muhammad, aged 17, son of Din Muhammad, was killed when unknown accused shot him with a pistol in Gulzar-e-Hijri. The body was moved to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, a man was shot and injured by robbers in Malir area of the metropolis in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to rescue sources, two robbers riding a motorbike tried to loot a 21-year-old man, Saqib, a resident of Landhi, and upon resistance, robbers shot and injured him.
The injured was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.
