Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over a meeting to review arrangements for the second international seminar pertaining to investment opportunities in Punjab.
Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said that there is a very conducive atmosphere for investment in Punjab and that the Punjab government was providing excellent facilities to local and foreign investors.
An exhibition will also be held in the expo centre along with the seminar. The chief minister was of the view that the international seminar was of paramount importance in view of the CPEC. Shehbaz Sharif said that participation of international investors in the seminar will result in the promotion of investment in the province.
He was hopeful that the seminar will yield positive results. The chief minister directed that arrangements for the seminar should be finalised, completed, and presented by the end of February.
Provincial Ministers Chaudhry Sher Ali, Malik Nadeem Kamran, Tanvir Aslam Malik, Shaikh Allauddin, Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, the chief secretary, additional chief secretary, home secretary, and other officials of concerned departments also attended the meeting.
