Sindh High Court (SHC) has constituted a 2-member bench for hearing contempt of court plea filed by Ayyan Ali for not removing her name by the government from ECL despite court orders.
A 2-member bench led by Justice Farooq Ahmad Shah will take up the case for hearing on February 8. Ayyan Ali has taken the plea that SHC had ordered the federal government to remove her name from ECL within 10 days but her name has not been removed despite lapse of 13 days. The Supreme Court has dismissed appeal plea filed by federal government and SHC has upheld the decision of removing of her name from ECL.
