Recently renowned international drifter and Red Bull Athlete ‘Ahmad Daham’ paid his first visit to Pakistan with the aim to support local drifting and motorsports community.
During his first Pakistan tour, Ahmad Daham wanted to do something special for his fans in Pakistan and what better way to show his admiration towards our country than the drifting icon himself showcasing some of his best skills in Pakistan for the Pakistani audience! On December 26th Ahmad Daham along with a production team travelled to Kund Malir in the province of Balochistan to shoot 60 seconds drifting clip. In the clip titled ‘Finding Hope, doughnuts’ the beautiful landscape of Balochistan is used as a cultural backdrop while Red Bull Athlete Ahmad Daham with his outstanding drifting skills travels across this beautiful area in search of the iconic landmark ‘Princess of Hope’. From burn-oudoughnutsAhmad Daham drifts on the roads of this beautiful location in a quest to find the ‘Princess of Hope’ and in the end, Daham finally meets the iconic landmark that puts a smile on his face. Never has the beauty nor the significance of the iconic landmark ‘Princess of Hope’ been projected like this before; the concept and story is the first, one-of-a-kind production in Pakistan by Red Bull Media House.
Directed by Bilal Khan from Moving Images production house, the video showcases some of the best, state-of-the-art production techniques, camera angles and direction skills. It is also imperative to mention here that Red Bull is the first brand in Pakistan to come up with such a concept that is designed to thrill the Pakistani audience like never before.
Committed to support Pakistan’s motorsports scene, Ahmad Daham also conducted the first-ever Red Bull Car Park Drift Workshop in Lahore on December 28, 2016; a one of a kind drifting workshop where Daham interacted with local drifters and gave them an overview in detail about the drifting skills and techniques trending in the global drifting community.
Ahmad Daham is no stranger to the global drifting community. His name has become synonymous with world-class drifting that has won him fans across the globe. Twice Red Bull Car Park Drift Regional Champion (2014 & 2015 Middle East) and Guinness World Record holder for longest twin drift, Daham in a short span of time and young age has achieved what takes others ages to achieve. Daham believes in sharing his drifting experiences, skills and techniques with the global drifting community.
It is important to mention here that after Red Bull Athlete Abdo Feghali this is the second high-profile visit paid to Pakistan by any drifter. Ahmad Daham’s Pakistan Tour 2016 is a testament to Red Bull’s commitment to support both local drifting scene and motorsports community of Pakistan by large.
