A woman pickpocket has been caught in the crowded business centre of Moti Bazaar on Monday. She was caught red -handed while trying to flick purse of a lady who had come to the market for shopping.
In reply to call for help by one of the victim ladies, the shop keepers from nearby shops rushed to the scene and foiled the bid by the pick pocket of fleeing from the scene and overpowered her.
As many as 8 purses were recovered from her possession after she was searched by other ladies. She was said to be 40-years-old and was holding no identity card.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
