Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud on Sunday, according to a statement issued by the military’s media wing.
The Saudi king and the army chief agreed that both the countries share a great history of cordial relations and a deep spirit of brotherhood which has transformed into an enduring partnership, read the Inter-Services Public Relations statement.
The two also acknowledged that both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are vital players in regional stability, and re-emphasised the need to continue working to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
Gen Bajwa reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the territorial integrity of the kingdom.
