A youth killed his sister over honour by strangling her to death and escaped after committing the crime here on Friday.
Police said that the accused over suspicion about the character of his younger sister strangled her in village Bazeda of Okara after a heated exchange of words.
The body was shifted to a hospital for a postmortem and the police after registering a case against the murderer have started a search to arrest him.
