The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle 63 tola gold jewellery to Pakistan and arrested a passenger who arrived from Muscat at Islamabad Airport on Wednesday.
According to ASF sources, during a search of the passenger arriving from Muscat at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad, 63 tola gold hidden in his jacket was found.
The ASF confiscated the recovered gold, arrested the accused and after registering a case against him started an investigation.
