Citizens protest against delay in construction of girls college

Citizens’ of Rawalpindi has protested over delay in the construction of girl’s college at Railway Road.

The protestors were led by Mohammad Yunus, Mohammad Imran and Saeed Ahmad.

The construction was started twelve years ago but regrettably because of non-release of funds, the construction is not yet completed, criticising the delay.

They said the future of girls is at stake due to non-completion of the college claiming it as an injustice.

They appealed to the prime minister and Punjab chief minister to sanction rupees hundred million to complete the construction work.

Meanwhile, the district administration has approved the upgrade of nine schools in the constituency of Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

According to details, four primary schools will be upgraded to middle school and five middle schools have been given a status of the secondary school.

The minister has sent a proposal under the development schemes to the city district government which will cost rupees eighty million.
