The Wildlife Department arrested five hunters and recovered two peacocks during a crackdown here on Thursday.
A team of Wildlife Department, taking notice of complaints regarding hunting of precious peacocks, conducted operation in Village Thario Halepota in Tharparkar. During the operation, five hunters were arrested and two peacocks were recovered from their possession.
The recovered peacocks were taken into custody and would be released in some safe place and the hunters were being interrogated.
