MQM Pakistan Chief Farooq Sattar has said that Karachi was a revenue hub of Pakistan and urged the federal and provincial governments to stop treating Karachi as a stepmother.
Farooq Sattar has launched a cleaning campaign in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. While briefing the media, Farooq Sattar said that MQM mayor and his team were representatives of Karachi and they were not representative of any particular class.
Farooq Sattar appealed to all the political parties for cooperation, saying that all the political parties should attend his programe. He said that during the first week of 100 days, 40 UCs wold be made model UCs, while he vowed to change the map of Karachi. He further said that our slogan was ‘limited resources and unlimited passion’, while he vowed to work on that basis and would soon launch cleanliness campaing in Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur including other cities of Sindh.
Dr Sattar should wait for the 100 day agenda of Wasim Akhtar and see what he can do. Other cities come next. Use campaign for cleaning and don't start playing politics.
