Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, taking serious notice of appointments in Sindh Text Book Board without any test/interview and without issuing advertisements, has directed Chairman Sindh Text Book Board to submit a report in this regard within a week.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he assured that if any maladministration and malpractice were reported in the process of appointments, he would take strict action against those who were found involved.
Meanwhile Dahar has also taken notice of delay in registration of private colleges and higher secondary schools across the province. He directed Secretary Education Schools and Secretary Education Colleges to remove all hurdles in this regard.
He said it had come into his notice that concerned Educational Boards had refused to accept the enrolment forms of such institutions and it feared that this action would cause a loss of an academic year to thousands of students. Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar assured the students and the parents that the matter would be resolved on a priority basis and their academic year would not be disturbed.
