Funeral prayer of soldier martyred by Indian firing offered

The funeral prayers of Pakistan Army soldiers, who embraced martyrdom in Indian Army’s unprovoked firing at Line of Control (LoC), was offered in Jhelum on Monday.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif also attended the funeral prayers of the martyred soldiers.  The army chief paid tributes to the sacrifices of the martyred soldiers.

On the occasion, the COAS was given a briefing on the situation at the LOC.  He said that Pakistan Army was responding Indian aggression in a befitting manner.

Seven soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred in unprovoked firing of Indian Army at Bhamber Sector on Line of Control (LoC) on Monday.

In a statement, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said that seven soldiers embraced martyrdom at the LOC in Bhimber sector in cross fire LOC violation by Indian troops. Pakistani troops while responding to Indian unprovoked firing, targeted Indian posts effectively.
