At least five persons were arrested for allegedly hunting deers in Jandiala area of Lahore.
The Wildlife officials with the help of Rangers held five persons for illegal hunting.
The Wildlife officials got a tip-off that five persons were engaged in illegal hunting of deers upon which the officials conducted a raid along with Rangers in Jandiala and arrested five accused while two of their accomplices managed to escape.
The Wildlife officials also recovered weapons, rounds and three deers. The accused were identified as Mubashir, Pervez, Zahid, Shamshad Gull and Zaka.
Shahrukh Butt, a wildlife officer, said that legal action would be taken against the accused.
