Indian weapons included in cache of arms recovered from Azizabad

Indian sophisticated weapons were also included in the huge cache of arms and ammunition recovered from a house in Azizabad.

Sources said that long range modern Indian snipers were also included in the weapons recovered from a house in Azizabad.

A Dragunov Sniper and three 12.7 guns were also recovered in the raid. These weapons are used by Indian army and Indian special forces.

Dragunov Sniper is a Russian rifle and was designed by Yevgeny Dragunov in 1958. Its weight is 5.20 kg and length is 44.7 inches. While its barrel length is 620 mm. Its rate of fire is 30 rounds per min and cartridge is 7.62×54mm. Its effective firing range is 800 meter.

While Hungry made 12.7 gun’s weight is about 17.5 kg and its length is 61.8 inches. It’s effective firing range is 2,500 meter. 12.7mm bullet is used in it.

Meanwhile, the owner of the house has been identified. The FC says that other empty houses in the vicinity of former Headquarters of MQM would also be searched.
