Pakistani forces have captured an Indian soldier who “inadvertently” crossed the Line of Control (LoC).
The arrest happened after India claimed of conducting a “surgical strike few kilometres inside Pakistani territory.”
As stated by India media, the soldier belonged to 37 Rashtriya Rifles and was captured by security forces of India after he ‘unintentionally moved across the Line of Control.’

According to the Indian news agency, the arrest was made at around 01:30pm.
It has also been claimed that Indian Director General of Military Operations, Lt General Ranbir Singh has informed Pakistani counterpart about the arrest over the hotline.
Pakistani authorities have not yet confirmed the arrest of the Indian soldier.
The arrest came roughly six hours after India falsely claimed successful completion of a surgical strike during the wee hours of Thursday morning which was later refuted by Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt General Asim Bajwa.
