As many as 10 couples tied the knot at a mass wedding at a ceremony held on Sunday.
Saiban Trust (TST), a non-government organisation (NGO), run by Rana Muhammad Azeem and Abdul Hafeez had organised the mass wedding of the deserved couples.
Hundreds of guests attended the wedding, during which they were served with food and cold drinks.
Every couple was provided with dowry worth Rs 100,000, besides kitchenware and Rs 10,000 cash as a wedding gift.
The people highly appreciated the NGO for organising the event which facilitated ten deserved couples and urged them to continue holding such ceremonies in future to help poor parents who cannot afford marriages of their sons and daughters.
