Punjab PDWP approves 4 development schemes

LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 375.45 million.

These schemes were approved in the 18th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over by P&D Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

P&D Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the Planning & Development Board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included: Consultancy Services on “Position of Punjab in Oil and Gas Sector in the Post of 18thAmendment Scenario” (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 22.500 million, PC-II for Hiring a Consultant/Consulting Firm for Designing Auditorium for Bahawalpur Arts Council, Bahawalpur, at the cost of Rs 6 million, PC-II for Hiring A Consultant/Consulting Firm for Upgradation of Open Air Theatre, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore, at the cost of Rs 4.500 million and Third Party Validation (TPV) of Khadam-e-Punjab Rural Road Program (KPRRP) Phase-IV (2nd Revised) at the cost of Rs 342.450 million.
