The Islamabad Police Special Investigation Unit (SIU) arrested four gangsters for their alleged involvement in looting houses after working there as domestic servants.
Following the directions from SSP Operations Sajid Kiani, a team was constituted by SP Investigation Muhammad Ilyas, including officials from the SIU. This team supervised by CIA DSP Bashir Noon and consisting of Assistant Superintendents Zulfiqar, Azhar, Rana Tasneem, Sargull and Lady Constable Rehana Kousar succeeded to bust a gang involved in looting houses.
The gangsters, including two males and two females, used to get jobs in houses as domestic servants and then loot them. They have been identified as Ijaz alias Sattar s/o Ahmed Yar, Yousaf s/o Ahmed Yar, Shenaz w/o Muhammad Younas residents of Chak no 101 Munianwala Tehsil Distt Chiniott, Kousar w/o Muhammad Aslam resident of Chak No 50 South Tehsil District Sargodha.
The police team recovered 22 tola of gold jewellery and Mehran car from them while one of the male accused is a court absconder while other is a proclaimed offender in various cases.
During preliminary investigation, they confessed to their involvement in multiple cases of theft.
