Pakistan juniors have failed to live up to their billing and are out of the quarter-final race as they finished last in their group at the 2016 Asian Junior U20 Men’s Volleyball Championship at Taiwan.
According to information received here on Wednesday, Pakistani youngsters lost all of their group matches. They lost their last group match 3-1 against Japan. They won the first set 25-23 but lost next three sets 17-25, 23-25 and 22-25.
Earlier, in their second fixture they suffered defeat against Iraq 3-1 with scores of 21-25, 25-21, 14-25 and 18-25, while in the first encounter they lost to China 3-0.
They will now take on Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Chinese Taipei in group G matches for the ninth place along with Group H consisting of Hong Kong, Australia, Bahrain and Qatar.
