Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday announced to name Lahore’s important road after late Abdul Sattar Edhi.
CM Punjab said that he has always been inspired by Edhi’s social work and his determination towards serving humanity.
He said that a great humanitarian like Edhi will always be remembered in the memories of people in the entire world.
Shehbaz Sharif said that no one can fill the space left by Abdul Sattar Edhi as he has taught us to live for others.
On the other hand, funeral prayers of Edhi have been offered at National Stadium in Karachi after which he was laid to rest at Edhi village in a grave dug around 25 years ago.
