I would like to bring to the notice of the concerned authorities the increasing problems of crimes and some measures to curtail this problem.
There are multiple reasons behind the rapid increase in crimes. Firstly, increasing poverty and sky high inflation has driven the deprived citizens to adopt illegal means. Secondly, inefficiency of the police force to curtail the rampant increase in crime. Moreover, easy availability of weapons has made it easier for young men to get hold of weapons for committing crime with impunity like mobile snatching.
This rapid increase also has also has other adverse effects. It has created an air of insecurity that prevails in the city, as the law and order situation fails. Moreover, it also affects our economy, as if deviate the attention of foreign direct investment as they feel insecure to invest in such an un-favourable atmosphere.
The government should take pertinent measures for creating job opportunities for the unemployed angry youth.
