Eight members of an outlawed militant group Monday were killed in recent raids in district Awaran of Balochistan.
The security forces and intelligence agencies in two different operations in district Awaran killed eight members of a banned group and recovered a large quantity of weapons from their possession, security sources said.
Security forces and secret agencies in the operations in Tehsil Mashkay of Awaran within last two days killed eight members of the banned group in two operations, sources said.
“Eight miscreants belonging to a banned militant group were killed during the exchange of fire,” a security official said.
The forces have claimed to recover a sizeable quantity of arms and ammunition from the possession of the militants.
Militants have conducted attacks against security forces and national installations in Balochistan.
