11 outlaws arrested, gold ornaments, weapon recovered in Capital

The Islamabad police have arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered ornaments, narcotics and weapons from their possession, police said.

According to details, Bhara Kahu police arrested Shahid Iqbal, allegedly involved in a theft case, and recovered gold ornaments and stolen items from his possession.

Aabpara police arrested Adil and recovered 200 grams hashish from him.  Shalimar police apprehended two Afghan nationals Gul Mir and Qadem Shah residing illegally in the country.

Industrial area police arrested Naseeruddin involved in banditry and recovered a pistol along with ammunition from him.

Shahzad Town police arrested Shafqat and recovered 210 grams heroin from him. Khanna police arrested Salamat Masih and recovered 25 litres wine while another wanted accused Zubair was also held.

Furthermore, the police also arrested four professional alm-seekers.

Islamabad SSP Sajid Kiani appreciated this overall performance and directed all the police officials to intensify efforts in apprehending criminals.
