Around eighteen Indian fishermen who were released from a Karachi jail as a goodwill gesture, arrived in Lahore on Monday, a local channel reported.
They were held for violating the territorial water of Pakistan.
The fishermen freed from Malir Jail in Karachi travelled to Lahore by a train where they will be handed over to the Indian forces at the Wagah border.
Both Indian and Pakistani fishermen are often arrested for illegal fishing since the Arabian Sea border is not clearly defined and many boats lack the technology to fix their precise location.
Recently, Pakistan released more than 300 Indian fishermen, who had completed their term while over 400 others are currently imprisoned in the Karachi jails.
