The Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakariya during a weekly press briefing stated that Pakistan is aware of Indian conspiracies to create instability in Karachi and Balochistan, in Islamabad on Thursday (today).

The spokesperson said that this issue will be raised at every international forum. The arrest of Kulbhushan Yadav, Indian spy working for ‘Research Analysis Wing’, proves this notion, Zakaria added.

Instead of the blame game, Indian must come to the table of talks in a positive way, he added.

He said Pakistan’s efforts against eliminating terrorism and its sacrifices were acknowledged by the world. He was of the view that India comes to the table for talks and refrain from levelling allegations on the neighbouring country.

Zakaria added that participation of all Afghan Taliban groups in dialogue process is vital for peace in Afghanistan.

In March, Pakistan had detained the suspected spy, Kulbhushan Jadhav, in the violence-plagued province of Balochistan after he had illegally entered the country from Iran. Jadhav was working for India’s main external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

India has confirmed that the man was a former Indian navy official but denied the man was a spy.

In video footage aired by the authorities, Jadhav said he had set up an office in Chabahar in south-east Iran in 2003 and later worked for the Indian agency.

  1. Where is that RAW agent Jadev who was captured from Quetta area? Why are we so quiet. I hope he is not under protection of Interior Minister like Aziz the terrorist.
