PAF war exercises come to an end at Nur Khan Air Base

Tempest-2, war exercises held by Pakistan Air Force at Nur Khan Air Base have concluded after chiefs of all three armed forces reviewed the battle capabilities of the force, reported Thursday.

While delivering an address, Air Chief Marshal, Sohail Aman said that all the three armed forces of the country have the best operational preparations to face both internal and external challenges.

He said that the air force played a vital role in Operation Zarb-e-Azb besides other forces. Co-relation between all three chiefs of armed forces was at its best in regard to the operation, he said.

Chairman Joint Chief of Army Staff Committee, General Rashid Mehmood was also present at the base and said that such exercises will help the personnel learn advanced war tactics. Spokesperson for the air force said that the exercise helped gauge organisation’s capability to attend to any call-of-need in the future.

The exercises are vital for operational planning of the Pakistan Air Force, he added.
