The police on Monday recovered bullet-riddled dead bodies of a kidnapped couple from trash dumping centre near Daska.
Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Dr. Abid Khan stated this while talking to media in Daska . DSP Daska Lal Muhammad Khokhar, senior member Sialkot District Peace Committee Zafar Malik and other senior police officials were also present on the occasion.
DPO told that a local criminal and notorious proclaimed offender (PO) Dilbar alias Khaadu and his armed companions had kidnapped a resident of village Bambaanwala-Daska, Muhammad Imran, and his wife Zubaida Bibi from their house on March 1st, 2016(three months ago), as the Bambaanwala police had registered an abduction case on the report of slain Imran’s father Abdul Sattar. The slain husband and wife had three minor children.
DPO added that the police arrested an accused Dilbar alias Khaadu in the case, who disclosed during preliminary police investigation that with the help of his companions, he had killed the couple by firing after their abduction three months ago.
The accused further disclosed that they had buried the bullet-riddled dead bodies in a big trash dumping point established in local fields near village Bambaanwala by Daska Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA).
DPO Sialkot Dr. Abid Khan told that the accused PO Dilbar alias Khaadu was wanted by police in as many as 30 different cases of heinous nature.
DPO revealed that on the identification by the accused kidnapper-turned-killer Dilbar, the police today dug up the trash heaps and recovered the dead bodies of the slain Imran and his wife Zubaida Bibi from there. Police said that the dead bodies were three months old.
Accused told the police investigators that the couple was shot dead by him and his other companions three months ago over suspicion of giving information about the accused to the local police.

Police shifted the dead bodies to Daska Civil Hospital for autopsy. Further investigations are underway. Later, the police handed over the dead bodies to the grieved family for burial. They were buried in a local grave yard in the presence of hundreds of the mourners from all walks of life.
