At least nine people were killed and 19 others injured when a speeding passenger bus overturned on the Indus Highway early on Tuesday (today).
Police said that the mishap occurred on Indus Highway at Hameedwala in Tehsil Jampur of district Rajanpur, when a speeding passenger bus on its way from Dera Ghazi Khan to Kot Mittahan trying to avoid a head-on clash with a tractor trolley turned upside down.
The deceased and the injured have been shifted to Jamshoro District Hospital for an autopsy and medical assistance.
