Police arrested 13 suspects and recovered arms during search operation on Sunday.
According to police, on a tip-off regarding presence of criminals, heavy contingent of police launched search operation in Pakhiala locality of Narang Mandi in district Sheikhupura. During search operation the police checked the CNICs and other documents of the residents.
The police took into custody 13 suspects and recovered weapons including two Kalashnikovs, five guns and hundreds of bullets.
The detainees were being interrogated after registering cases against them at respective police station.
