Sindh Rangers Director General Major General Bilal Akbar Saturday held meetings with the leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movment, Muhajir Qaumi Movement and Pak Sarzameen Party.
According to Rangers spokesman, all the three political parties assured the DG Rangers of playing their role for peace in the province. The meetings came two days after a clash between the workers of MQM and PSP in Hyderabad that left at least 11 people injured. The workers of two rival parties clashed at Haali Road when the MQM workers allegedly assaulted PSP rally. The MQM’s unit office located in Pinjra Pol area was set on fire by unidentified persons after the clash.
