Residential flat catches fire, injures four

Four people were injured after they jumped from the second floor of a building as fire erupted in Clifton on Friday.

The fire broke out in an electric PMT inside the building near Marwat Hospital in Clifton. The fire spread to the first and second floor in the building. The four men jumped to save their lives as a result, they suffered severe injuries.

The injured men were identified as Nadeem, 29, son of Roshan; Aleem, 30, son of Bashir; Imtiaz, 35, son of Ali Muhammad; and Ghulam Sarwar. The fire burnt two cars and three motorcycles completely and damaged a motorcycle and a car partially. However, the fire was brought under control after hectic efforts of two hours.
