A retired major on Thursday committed suicide by shooting himself in Mehran Hotel in the metropolis.
According to rescue sources, Jawed, 56, son of Yaseen Javed, retired as major from Pakistan Army, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head in Mehran Hotel. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for autopsy. The motive behind the suicide could not be ascertained yet.
