The Punjab government has approved a scheme worth Rs50 million for replacing dilapidated water supply lines in Rawalpindi.
“A grant of Rs50 million has been approved for this purpose and the project will be completed in collaboration with the WASA,” said a source.
Under the project, dilapidated and rusty water supply pipelines will be replaced in NA-55, NA-56 and PP-6. Water
WASA Managing Director Raja Shaukat Mehmood said that Rs5 million has already been released in the first phase.
