Fake female lawyer with Rs1m bounty on her head arrested over human trafficking charges

The Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a woman pretending to be a lawyer and having a bounty of Rs 1 million on her head over involvement in human trafficking.

The FIA sources said that the fake lawyer, identified as Shazia Ijaz was arrested from the premises of the Rawalpindi district court.

The accused is accused of deceiving people with promises of sending them to Canada, Australia, Italy and other European countries for employment in return for large sums of money.

Shazia was wanted by FIA in 15 cases of human trafficking and the district administration had placed one head money on her.
