The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Thursday demanded constitution of a judicial inquiry headed by sitting Chief Justice of Supreme Court to probe Panama leaks.

Addressing a press conference, Central Information Secretary of PTI Naeem-ul-Haq said that the country is facing so many challenges and the nation wanted truth about Panama leaks.

He also appreciated the steps by the government regarding the permission of addressing the press conference at Press Information Department.

Member National Assembly Ayesha Gulalai and Shehryar Khan Afridi were also present on the occasion.

Naeem said that the state media should also cover the opposition parties because these are the property of the nation.

He said inquiries have been initiated in different countries about off shore companies. “Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already ordered an inquiry on panama papers and a commission will submit the report till April 25,” he added.

He rejected all the allegations about Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Imran Khan because all of the US$ 3 million were returned to the account of hospital from off-shore companies on June 29, 2015.

To a question, he said that Imran Khan and other PTI members would appear before the commission if it will call anybody about any allegation.
