Police arrested three brothers and two of their relatives for their alleged involvement in Lahore terrorist attack at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park on Sunday.
According to police sources, a heavy contingent of police reached village Fateh Sarani in Muzaffargarh and arrested three brothers of a suspected terrorist Yousuf. He was being named as the culprit involved in Gulshan-e-Iqbal blast that killed over 50 people and injured scores of others.
Police inquired about the activities of suspect Yousuf from the villagers. Muhammad Yousuf was a student at a religious seminary in Lahore. His father, Ghulam Fareed, had gone for Umrah.
The sources informed that the suspect had seven brothers and three sisters. The police had cordoned off the village and an investigating about the suspect’s family has started.
