Armed men gunned down one person and injured another over old rivalry. The police arrested 10 suspects and recovered arms and drugs during a search operation on Friday.
Police sources said armed men opened fire at members of their rival group killing one person and injuring another before fleeing the scene in Civil Colony of the provincial capital Peshawar.
Responding to a tip-off regarding presence of outlaws, the police conducted search operation in Mithra locality of the city and apprehended 10 suspects and recovered two rifles, two pistols and hundreds of rounds of ammunition and drugs from their possesion.
The police after registering separate cases against suspects at the respective police stations have started the investigation.
