The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday termed PPP leader Sherjeel Memon’s petition filed against it illegal and non-maintainable.
In its response, the NAB stated that Memon was being investigated for alleged corruption amounting to Rs 5 billion. The accountability body also said it was carrying out its activities in accordance with the law.
In his plea filed with the Sindh High Court, Memon, who is in Dubai these days, alleged that he was not involved in financial corruption, nor had he misused his powers as the Sindh information minister.
This former Sind Minister, another of a corrupt PPP deserter, is talking too much like his Chance Chairman. He should also be brought back to face gross corruption charges
